Verification For Agriculture

EcoPractices verification process consists of 3 main steps and its flexibility allows for the potential addition of steps to be included based upon specific needs and desires. EcoPractices Product Manager will facilitate the verification process and approve each stage before the next stage is initiated to assure accuracy.

1. NRCS Technical Guide Standards

EcoPractices utilizes Sustainable Environmental Consultants, who can design and approve of criteria that meets Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) specifications and will assist EcoPractices in overseeing and releasing data for the second phase.

2. AgSolver’s Software Workflow

AgSolver’s software workflow

AgSolver will verify and track the practice information provided and utilize that data for environmental impact generation with our Ecotags.

3. Spot-check Process

Spot-check Process

A third party and/or a contracted university in the area will provide on-location field agents to manually verify that a practice was implemented. Drone imagery could be utilized in addition.

Invoices and receipts may be required as proof that certain products had to be purchased in order to perform or implement the practice.

Personal and aerial photographs may be required to ensure the practice was successfully implemented and done so properly to NRCS standards.

Field location and field boundary data are used to obtain specific satellite data and aerial photographs.

EcoPractices requires field boundaries to ensure that proper soil type data and geographical information are utilized to evaluate at a field specific level.

As applied machine data is required for use with specific conservation practices to ensure proper practice procedures were performed.
